I pushed to make something portfolio quality. Hrm…almost there. I made a town! And I had to make a my own g.d. lense flare. Really photoshop? Really?

Look, I executed a reveal without over explaining! *high five's self* It's probably still terrible to Paul though. Ah well, he still supports me though the horror ;P

I'm starting to feel like I'm in a bleach episode. I almost give Jesus and Merl swords and Soul Society coats.

The biggest thing to me is to just keep improving. In jokes, writing, art. Lol. It always make me laugh when I say "art." I mean, there's the comic storyboard, and the frame and the speech bubble placement. Then I have to make the characters look dynamic to the scene. I mean just that part is crazy. Wallpapers is one thing, but a comic layout is completely different. For one thing, wallpapers typically don't have scenery in the background. Landscaping is a chore. But it can be pretty fun…if you imagine your Godzilla crushing all the scenery with your gigantic lizard feet like I do. Then I have to draw the characters, throw down some digital lines, and then color the damn thing. I have a whole page filled with character swatches. Oh boy, all the fun color schemes I get to pick for them. Then I have to go in there, and shade the characters the scenery. Oh lord. I talk all that and sum it into one word. Art. It makes me laugh, because it's so much more than that.

It's hard to believe that I write the story and the jokes, and do all of that art work by myself with no schooling. It makes me laugh that I've only started learning all this stuff in a little over a year, and this is where I'm at. I'm not trying to brag, I'm only trying to make myself feel better. I've been depressed about my comic lately, and I'm starting to finally come out of it. I'm trying to give myself some positive reinforcement. ^_^
